Hebbal Diary: I

I now have a local patch at Hebbal Lake. Armed with the 500mm lens I now find it worth my while to visit the area. My presence there is indicated by my Gypsy which is parked outside. Do come up and say 'hello.' One interesting offshoot of my now, numerous, visits to the lake, has been in meeting several other birders and photographers.

Here is a first set of images from Hebbal. Needless to say I would have preferred to have captured the Pied Kingfisher with a catchlight, and I don't care to add one in Photoshop.
